About this machine
Anyang FP power hammers for blacksmiths (from 15 kg to 110 kg) are self-contained pneumatic power hammers requiring no external air supply or high-pressure hoses.
The design draws from proven European hammer models like Nazel, Beche and Massey units. The frames are cast iron, like the old hammers: cast iron is more expensive to manufacture compared with fabricated hammers, but the machines are heavier, do not flex over time and carry a lifetime warranty on the frame.
The hammers maintain their resale value thanks to longevity and construction quality — used units are typically priced near new retail models.

Design features and technology
Cast iron frame
The cast iron frame will never flex or warp. Compare the weights of different hammers available and you will find that the Anyang power hammer is amongst the heaviest.
Warranty
Lifetime frame warranty, one year on wearing parts against defects and one year on electrical components against defects.
External drive belts
External drive belts. The design keeps the belts dry and away from oil, which eliminates belt slippage and extends belt life. Replacing the belts is quick and easy.
Cast air ports
The air ports are cast into the hammer, which eliminates internal rubber hoses and fittings.
Low maintenance
Automatic and fully adjustable oil system. The two grease zerks are easy to reach, and large tapered roller bearings in the crankcase give a long trouble-free life.
Simple design
Only 3 basic sections — crankcase, compressor piston, ram. Hammers can be disassembled and, if needed, rebuilt in a day or less.
Very controllable
Very controllable, making the use of tooling easy. The operator can change tooling or material thicknesses without adjusting the ram or stroke.
Quick installation
Easy to install — once the hammer is uncrated, installation takes about 30–45 minutes. The C41-15, C41-25, C41-40, C41-55, C41-75 and C41-110 are one piece, which makes for easy installation.
Safety and CE marking
All Anyang power hammers have got CE. The design is safe.
New L-type design
The newer L-type model features a heavier frame and ram. The key and die do not retract into the cylinder, making it easy to change dies and use tooling. You can forge heavy stock and immediately switch to thin light stock with no adjustments. The Anyang L type power hammer is a patented product.

How to order
- 1Greasing: the two grease zerks for the crankcase and connecting rod should be greased at least once a month. Pump enough grease until you see it coming out from the bearings or where the shaft exits the crankcase.
- 2Oil: use 10 to 30 weight depending on the temperature of your shop; if the oil is not flowing adequately, use a lighter oil. Non-detergent oil from agricultural supply stores is a cost-effective option.
- 3Oil flow is the most critical component of hammer performance and life — oil is not only a lubricant, it is a sealer. Dial the oiler to one drip every 3 to 6 seconds; with proper oiling the ram will be moist with a film of oil. If you make a mistake, use too much oil — it never hurt a hammer.
- 4Once a year, check the plastic oil lines for stiffness, discoloration or cracking, and replace them if necessary.
- 5After a few hours of forging, tap on the die keys to make sure they are tight.
- 6Once every two months, check the bolts for tightness. After the first 6 months of usage, check the connecting rod nuts.
- 7Depending on your usage, every two or three months drain the oil at the bottom of the hammer using the petcock on the side.
