Converting steam and air hammers
The existing anvil block and frame are retained, and a new hydraulic power head is added together with the control systems.
C86YT
Hydraulic power head designed to convert classic steam or compressed-air hammers into fully hydraulic equipment — small investment, short cycle, high benefit.

Overview
The fully hydraulic power head is Anyang's solution for upgrading existing hammers: it is suitable for the conversion of steam hammers, air-compressor forging hammers and electro-hydraulic forging hammers.
The conversion delivers improved performance with a small investment and a quick implementation. A reference example is the conversion of a 10-ton C-type steam hammer completed in India.

Features
The existing anvil block and frame are retained, and a new hydraulic power head is added together with the control systems.
The existing components are reused and only the power head is replaced.
Short conversion cycle, small investment and high benefit compared with buying a completely new machine.
Energy consumption drops significantly compared with the original steam or compressed-air drive.
High hitting frequency with striking power that remains adequate for the existing forging processes.
The striking energy can be managed precisely, which improves the consistency of the forgings.
Operator fatigue is considerably reduced compared with the mechanical controls of classic hammers.
